Prednisone or prednisolone was discovered and approved for use in 1955. The drug is included on the Essential Medicines List of the World Health Organization as one of the most effective and affordable medications. It is listed as emergency medicine for anaphylaxis, as well as chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Hodgkin and Burkitt lymphomas, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, follicular and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, etc.

Prednisone is well-studied and, unlike other drugs, has long been used in medical practice. The useful properties of the drug are still being analyzed. The latest research was made using a transferred multipolar atom model and published at PubMed. The drug has been shown to be effective against various diseases such as asthma, urticaria, multiple sclerosis, etc.

The pharmacist Jim at Little Drug Co. is very knowledgeable. I had an issue going on asked what he recommended over the counter, and it worked. Everyone at this store Is very polite and great customer service. Keep up the good work.

I recently moved my family to the Linden area, and this Little Drug Co will be the pharmacy I use from here forward. My doctor had post-dated a few months’ worths of medication for me until my employment insurance kicks in, and Little Drug Co is the only pharmacy, the only one in the area that will accept out-of-state prescriptions. They called my doctor to confirm the prescription and receive authorization to fill it and had it filled for me within 10 minutes. If you were out of state, relocating for work, or simply traveling on vacation and do not use any of the local pharmacy chains as they will turn around and tell you that they cannot fill it because it is an out-of-state prescription, at least that is what all of them told me. It sucks because I enjoy contributing and giving to the local community in any way I can, this being one of them, but unfortunately, they would not accept me. Maybe one day, the laws will be a little bit different from where there is transparency between big-name medical and small hometown pharmacies.

Dosage: 10mg, 20mg

Most inconvenient hours ever. I have needed to stop here multiple times on my way to and from work, and they never seem to be open! They don’t open until 9 a.m. and on weekends close at 4 p.m. Some people work on weekends!! For those like me, who work 8-5, this Lake Martin Pharmacy is useless… I live in Diamondhead and keep my prescription at the CVS in Slidell simply because the one in Slidell has more convenient hours….

The pharmacy will always have my business! Every time I go to fill medicine, no matter who is working, they always try and find the best way for me to get my medicine without paying an arm and a leg for it. Waaaaay better than Walmart pharmacy because they actually care and try and get you your medicine at an affordable price.

Dosage: 10 mg, 20 mg pills

Shelton Family Pharmacy‘s techs here just seem to be getting better and better. They are so personable and efficient. I once wrote a complaint about the service that I received at this store. Two years later and things have completely turned around. It just goes to show what you can do with a team of winners. Awesome!

Worst pharmacy ever! I dropped off a prescription at 8 a.m. and was told it would be ready by 10. I tried calling all afternoon to find out if it were ready nobody would answer the phone. Tried at least 6 calls. At 5:30 p.m., the drive-thru was packed, and when I went inside, the line was 12 people long. When I finally got to the counter, I found out my prescription still was not ready! Worst customer service ever!

I visited Moon’s Drug Store once to get over-the-counter medicine for a UTI. I mentioned to them the compound drug I had been getting from another pharmacy. They told me that they could fill it with no problems. So I had that single compound prescription transferred to them. About a month later, I transferred all my prescriptions there. I now use Publix pharmacy because that is where my children get their prescriptions filled, and it is closer to home. I had all other prescriptions besides the compound drug transferred to Publix. I called Moon’s Drug Store today to get the compound drug-filled. I was told that they would pull it and fill it. (this was around 9 a.m.) 4:00 p.m. rolls around, and no call from them. So I called to ask if it was ready for pick up, and I was told that since I am not a customer of theirs anymore, that they would not fill it for me. Mind you, I waited all day for a call, and now I can’t even get it transferred to another pharmacy today because it is too late, and I desperately need it. They said they could fill it and got me to transfer the prescription there. However, now that I transfer all my other prescriptions to Publix, they all of a sudden do not want to fill this one for me. While I was a customer, they were great. However, if you are not, they do not go above and beyond to get you the medicine you need. It seems as though they are all about the money. I am highly upset that they didn’t even bother to call and tell me this and that I had to call myself near closing time.

I get all my prescriptions from here. I love the drive-thru. Makes it very convenient to pick up scripts, especially when you’re sick and are still in your pajamas. I use to only use Walmart, then I had enough of going to refill my prescriptions, which have been exactly the same each month for the last 2 years, and Walmart telling me they were out of it. It’s been a year now that I transferred all of my medicines to Moon’s Drug Store, and not once have I been told that they were out and I would have to wait several days. Also, everyone that I’ve dealt with in the pharmacy has always been very friendly and helpful if I’ve had questions or a problem with anything. I recommend them to all my friends and family and continue to keep them my go-to pharmacy.
